Solving the App Install is "Waiting" Problem


What to do if any of your Pocket Anatomy Apps are stuck on “waiting…” or “installing…” state during install:

Possible Causes of this "Waiting" problem:

This problem is due to some troubles with the network, App Store, device settings, or problems on the app itself. Often, this can occur when you attempt to update multiple apps at one time. Below are potential solutions.

Possible Solutions:

  1. Reboot your phone.
  2. Sign out and in to the App Store.
  3. Resume app download or update on the App Store. 

1. Reboot your phone.

Press and hold down the Power button for a few seconds until the Power off slider appears.

  • Power it off, wait for about a minute or two.
  • Turn your iPhone back on.

2. Sign out and in to the App Store.

Sometimes, this "Waiting" problem can occur due to server errors. In this case, you can try signing out from the App Store and then signing in again at a later stage.

  • Go to your iPhone/iPad Settings.
  • Tap on the AppStore App.
  • Navigate to the Featured
  • Tap Apple ID.
  • Tap Sign Out.
  • Tap Apple ID.
  • Tap Sign In.
  • Select Use Existing Apple ID.
  • Log In to your account.

3. Resume app download or update on the App Store.

  • Go to the App Store App on your device.
  • Locate the app you want to download.
  • Tap the Install button to proceed.

Follow the onscreen prompts until the app is successfully downloaded and installed on your iPhone/iPad.
